How
is Food Distributed?
Food
is provided in "units". Each food unit sells for
$30 and contains both fresh and frozen top quality food
items with an average retail value of $60. The food is not
"seconds" or overruns and never contains outdated
items. There is no limit on the number of units you may
order, but you have to provide a way to pick it up.
We
provide food once each month on what we call "Distribution
Day". You receive your food here at the church between
9:00 and 11:00 on "Distribution Day".
You
must have your receipt with you to receive your food. Be
sure to bring a box, laundry basket or cooler to carry your
food. All food not picked up on "Distribution Day"
will be donated to a local food pantry.
